GIVEAWAY: DinoMoov at Changi Airport

EDIT 08.09.16: Congratulations Amanda Soh and Nuraini Osman! You have won yourselves Three DinoMoove Rides and One Colour Dough each!

Media Invite

We started the September School Holidays with a Dizzy Dinosaur Weekend! Saturday morning was spent at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum and Sunday morning with DinoMoov at Changi Airport. Ewan was so excited to leave home for DinoMoov [his first time] that we skipped breakfast just to get him his Dino fix.

When: 2 to 18 September 2016
Where: Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall [opposite Gate 11]
Time: 1000 to 2230 hours [weekends] and 1100 to 2200 hours [weekdays]
Price: 1 Ride S$3 | 3 Rides S$10
Bundle Price: 3 Rides + 1 Dough Coloring + 1 Dinosaur Soap Making S$20

NOTE: All pictures of Ewan alone on the DinoMoov are photographed only for media propaganda. They are stationary and not in operation. Children are to be accompanied by an adult at all times during the ride to avoid accidents during play.

DinoMoov is ZooMoov's latest creation! They present Silicon-Made Dinosaurs On The Move which are a whole lot more realistic to touch and definitely more hygienic than their original furry animals under ZooMoov. The owner, a father himself, is well aware of moms' concerns and is working on future rides to be made in silicon as well. Big Thumbs Up!

DID YOU KNOW?
There are two permanent DinoMoov locations in Singapore?
Kallang Wave Mall and Ang Mo Kio Hub!

As we turned the corner around Gate 11 at Terminal 3, Ewan dashed in super speed time towards the DinoMoov booth with resounding roar, "DINOSAURS!" He was frantically looking around for his favourite dinosaur and when he spotted it, his face lit up like never before. Stegosaurus!

There is no Stegosaurus for the DinoMoov but one was on display and that was a big treat in itself [since our visit to Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum disappointed him with no Stegosaurus at all]. The three Dinosaurs On The Move included Triceratops, T-Rex and Parasaurolophus. We had the chance to ride on them all. There is also a little ramp that goes up and down. Somewhat like a molehill but it was a lot of fun for parent-and-child! At the up ramp, parents are advised to Stomp Up with our legs [because it is too steep and we are too heavy for the ride to go up smoothly] and the down ramp was Wheeeeee-Fun! It was fast in the context of a child and you could see those smiling glees on our faces when we went down. DinoMoov does not have music coming out from it unlike ZooMoov and I think that was a smart improvisation because if anything, they should be roars.

Oh do not miss all the fun in the dinosaur egg hunting game! Dinosaur eggs are hidden behind bushes and corners where children are encouraged to uncover and drop them in the correct nests. There are two nests at this mini Jurassic Park - one to collect "eggs with squares" and the other for "eggs with stars". You will get the gist of the game when you are there. It doesn't seem like very much but a treasure hunt is still a treasure hunt for the kids. Definitely brought the fun level up a notch for Ewan. When you are done with the treasure hunt, you can inform one of the staff who will treat you with a dinosaur origami prize!

Faye, on the other hand, kept saying she was frightened of the dinosaurs. No matter how I assured her that I will be there with her, she refused to allow the DinoMoov to move. The beautiful part of this play program is, there are craft stations for those like Faye to spend time on art and for those who wanted more play besides riding on dinosaurs.

We had our hands busy on all the crafts that was available and it is definitely not something your chid can do alone. Unless maybe if he is 10 years old. Good initiative I must add because it forces parents to be involved in the fun as well. We have seen too many of us parents dropping kids off at craft tables while we bury our heads into our smart phones. Yet, our children find us giving them 100% attention most important. It doesn't matter if our attempts to make dinosaur soaps turned out to be this amateurish right? Ewan and Faye had fun working on them with us. It is not easy even for an adult to make a Triceratops or Stegosaurus successfully so do participate in this craftwork with your child and make him super proud of this joint creation.

Daddy also worked on a dough-like craft with the children and came up with a very colourful T-Rex picture for keeps.
