Gardens By The Bay: Dye-Nosaur Gardens and Blossom Bliss
Today is the last day of school! Is everyone ready to kick-start the March holidays tonight? While Blossom Bliss at Flower Dome ends its debut on 24th of March 2017, Dye-Nosaur Gardens will run all the way till 2nd of April 2017!
As we will be away most of the March holidays, I thought it would be a great idea to visit the gardens before we leave for our trip. The children would go Dino-Crazy when they come face-to-face with those life-size beasts! Besides, today is the start of all activities at the Dye-Nosaur Gardens.
But the few that attracted me were:
The children created their own little prehistoric world. Although I had a difficult time managing both their terrariums at the same time, there were very helpful staff from The Learning Lab to assist us. Ewan and Faye were whisked into a sand pit where little dinosaurs were buried. They were to find and bring back to the workshop, one dinosaur of their choice for their terrariums. Best of all, air-conditioned!
Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm | 4:00pm - 5:00pm | 6:00pm – 7:00pm | 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Supertree Grove, behind OCBC Skywalk
Fees: $20/ head for workshop inscluding materials
Registration is only available on-site on the same day. Limited to 20 participants per session.

2. GAMES GALORE
We had so much fun at the free waterplay areas with additional activities like the Fishing Pond, Shoot the Dinosaur Game, and Feed the Dinosaur Game. I couldn't tear the children away but we had to because there's so much to play at the gardens that we did not want to miss! I know we could return another day but I just wanted to make every hour worth the while when we were there.

5. THE DYE-NOSAUR GARDENS
Here, my favourite. Brightly coloured, life-sized dinosaurs roaring to life before your our eyes! Like seriously! They were roaring when we were there and it brings out so much of the gardens!
Date: 10 Mar - 2 Apr 2017
Time: 10.00am - 9.00pm
Location: Supertree Grove
After a hot and sweaty time in the outdoor gardens, we moved on to the Flower Dome for BLOSSOM BLISS! I was hoping there'll be more than just a few buds sprouting and true enough, we had enough blooms to make for this beautiful pictures! These beautiful and transient flowers, known for their unpredictable blooming, are back in Flower Dome with the “Blossom Bliss” (粉色之恋) floral display.
I have never seen cherry blossoms before but I had thought they were bright pink. White flowers were a nice surprise and it actually looks very pure to me.
I think the gardens are expecting a very huge crowd with the barricades they put up for queues inside and outside the Flower Dome.
The gardens have introduced timed-entry tickets for Blossom Bliss from 3 - 24 MARCH 2017: 9am / 11am / 1pm / 3pm / 5pm / 7pm. Tickets can be purchased online or on-site. The good news is, Friends Of The Gardens are allowed to enter and exit anytime of the day!
