PRINT FEATURE: Playtime with Singapore Mom Bloggers in Harper's Bazaar Junior
A few of us mommy bloggers were invited to share our take on some of the Great Escapes in Singapore. We know best all the fun side of Singapore because we have a burning desire to live it up for our children. Weekends are never wasted staring at each other in the eyes on the couch. Whether it is going to be a full day of activities or just a relaxing time in the park, we are mostly out of the house as soon as we wake.
Sometimes we run out of ideas and places to go but the list is long. There is so much to do with your families in Singapore. While some moms recommended going to the theatres to watch a play or take your child out on a photography excursion, I shared my children's favourite thing to do. They put it top on the charts. A cable car joyride.
We bought the Faber License Membership which entitled us to unlimited rides on the cable car when Ewan turned two. The privilege does not stop there. We enjoyed free entry to Sentosa by car, free monorail rides from Vivo City and many other discounts within the island. Every year, we renew our license and it gets even better with the newly built Sentosa Line! Not only do we get to ride the Mount Faber Line, our membership brings us unlimited joyrides on the new line as well.
The day they announce that they've had enough of cable cars, I'd probably wallow in tears. It would have meant they'd grown out of little joys like a cabin ride up in the sky with mommy and daddy.
Oh yes... and if you didn't know, the cabin can take in your stroller as well.
