"They are always together -
On sunny days, raining days, and dreamy let's-be-lazy-days."
Welcome to the world of Belle & Boo! I was first introduced to this amiable bob haired little girl and her adorable bunny friend in 2012 - the year Ewan was born. I then decided that Belle & Boo shall grace the theme of his First Birthday just because I wasn't sure if I'd have a daughter in the near future and and and my one year old was not equipped enough to insist the theme to his party yet. EVIL!
When I learnt that Belle & Boo will be readily available in Singapore at Upsy Daisy, I couldn't contain my squeals! With Faye being the brand ambassador, we got first dips of the collection. What has mama been doing ever since? I had been growing the brand onto little Faye and wished she'd love them as much as I do.
It is the traditional and tranquil illustrations that appealed to me most. When I look at Belle & Boo, a certain kind of peace encapsulates me and I cannot help but smile. Telling stories the old-fashioned way is my favourite thing to do and I wish not for tablets to fully take reign in this lifetime. Admiring the illustrations while listening to an animated story [told by mommy] is the most beautiful gift a child can receive. We own two Belle & Boo storybooks namely Hop Along Boo, Time for Bed and Belle & Boo and the Birthday Surprise. Hop on up to bed and snuggle up with blankets as the dreamiest of adventures awaits.
The Dress-Up Sticker Book is mainly for my indulgence to relieve some kind of forgotten childhood. Belle is not the only character in the collection. There are Ava, Sophia and even little boys drawn playing or simply pondering about life whilst sitting under an apple tree. Unlike other sticker books that we owned, I was very careful when Faye tried to stick cupcakes onto the dessert plate in this one. I couldn't let her ruin it! I am sure I am not the only paranoid mommy around right?
From ballet class to pirate adventures, we can pick the perfect outfit for every occasion with over 135 pretty stickers to choose from. Not only did it keep Faye really busy but me as well!

The collection includes bags that are irresistibly enchanting. So much so, we had to own two of which. One for a picnic day [Tea Time Lunch Bag] and the other for an imaginary adventure into the woods [Rucksack].
While the Lunch Bag's perfect for little Faye, bringing it along with her everywhere so that she can have her English Tea Party anytime, the Rucksack's too big for her. I was secretly gloating when I got to claim her rucksack as my own! She will just have to wait till she's bigger. Grow up slowly honeykins.
The Lunch Bag works well as a toy tea party carrier, a picnic bag or even a school bag. It is an insulated bag with a wipe clean panel on the top which makes it easy to care for with those sticky little fingers. This picnic scene in a summer floral garden with Belle & Boo is a popular illustration used on many products and I never get tired of it.
Do you have a problem when it comes to keeping clean with markers and paints? I do! Besides purchasing washable paints, I turn to art smocks to keep their clothes clean. Unfortunately, many smocks are really hot to wear [and erm... not pretty]. At least my children looked hot in those long-sleeved overalls!
What a beautiful piece of Apron this is! At first sight, I associated it to a baking apron and was not keen to pick this out because we hardly cook. But when I realised it is made from PVC material, I immediately thought what a pretty accessory this will make for art jamming sessions at home! It is a wipe clean apron but be sure to purchase only washable paints and markers still! Perfect for both the kitchen or the easel.
I had to persuade Faye to take that apron off by bribing her with snacks! That was how much she loved it.
